Biography of Georges De Mestral

Georges De Mestral was born in june 19 1907
in the castle of saint saphorin sur morges. At the
     age of 12 mestral invented a airplane and patented it.
He attended to the ecole polytechnique federale de laussane.
 He graduated  as an electrical engineer,
 he worked in the machine shop of an engineering
company. In1955 he sucess with his invention, eventually
selling 60 million yards.Georges was married three times: 
to Jeanne Schnyder in 1932, Monique Panchaud
 de Bottens in 1949, and Helen Mary Dale. De Mestral died in commungny, switzerland, where he is buried.
The municipality named a avenue with his named, the
 is calles L'avenue Georges de Mestra,
 in his honor. He was inducted into the National Inventor
Halls of Fame in 1999 for his invention.
