what did i learnt!

what i learn from this project is that they are many inventors that discovered many amazing things that we use in our daily life but we ignored who discovered it. in my case i research of Georges De Mestral and i discovered that this inventor discovered the velcro and what i learn from this project is that we can reach out our dreams if we thrust in our self. Other thing that i learn from this project is that we never have to give up only because we dont get what we want and we have to try until we do it, so if we never give up we can be a very sucessfull people that follow his or her dreams.
also i realize that Georges De Mestral has helped a lot the earth with his invention because know people used the velcro in many things.

I finally found it!

Today is the happiest day ever. I was  walking with my dog we where returning from a hunting at that moments i was thinking of something huge, something big that make me a famous person  for a magnificate invention. When  i felt that something sticky in my hand. When i saw it i realize that that thing stick at my hair and my dog's fur i ran fast to my house. In my house i have a mysterious material hide under my bed i ran and i toke it. I ran to my laboratory and i put the mysterious material under the microscope and next i put the sticky thing. When i saw i noticed that they have the opposite materials and that make that they attached. At that moment i was very happy because i just invented a fantastic thing that you can pasted it and take it off. I thought for a long time what name do i have to put it to my invention, so an idea came to me. I was so excited the name that i put it is velcro is not a common name well nobody know it. Well i want that my invention is going to be recogniced by all the world and make big inventions with it. We have to wait what the time will tell!!

The velcro

History
The velcro is one of the inventions that most all the peple used it. The inventor of the velcro was George de Mestral. the idea came to him in 1941 after returning from a hunting trip with his dog in the Alps. He took a close look at the burrs(seeds) that kept sticking to his clothes and his dog's fur. He examinated them under a microscope, and noted their hundreds of'''hooks'' that caught on anything with a loop, such as clothing, animal fur, or hair. He saw the possibility of binding two materials reversibly in a simple fashion, if he could figure out how to duplicate the hooks and loops.

Materials
Velcro is made up of two separate sides. One side is made up of hooks, and the other side is made up of soft loops. Both sides of a strip of velcro are made of nylon, but the process for making the hooks is different from making the loops. The hooks are created under an infrared lamp. The loops are made of matted, nylon  fibers that provide the mates to the hooks.

Uses of velcro

v

Clothing such as jackets, bags and shoes. It can be used for doll and pet clothing. The velcro is useful for hanging items such as greeting cards, children's artwork, christmas lights, garland and other decorations. Velcro comes in many shapes and sizes. It is available in small coin shapes, strips and rolls. it comes in both sticky backed form and sew on form. The velcro is wider and water and temperature resistant.

Halls of Fame in 1999 for his invention.

Introduction of the project

The reason of what we are doing this project is because we want to know more about the famous inventors of our time, this project teach us something new about famous projects that make the world change. This project also is interesting because we are searching some awesome projects that are already done but we don't know who created it and we are constant using in our daily life. This project will be graded by computer and english department.
The inventor that i am going to research is called Georges De Mestral.
